I wish there was a zero stars option because this product would for sure get it. I have been TTC for a few months and I bought the regular First Response Early Result Tests and one Digital Gold came free to try in the box. Since I am kind of an addict when it comes to peeing on a stick, I took 2 tests - both a digital and a regular. I had never used a digital one, so I wanted to be sure. LOL I was happy to see the digital test came up as positive (YES+) within the 3 minutes. I was so happy I almost forgot to check the other test. The regular First Response was negative, only one pink line. Not a big deal (or so I thought), the digital must be more sensitive. I got rushed down the stairs and showed my husband, and then called my mom and BFF. So imagine my shock when I took another regular First Response this morning (I told you I was addicted, besides I needed to use that last test up) and it was still clearly negative. No 2nd line what-so-ever. I was shocked and confused... Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of time and money, March 27, 2011

I can't stress enough how the digital display is a pointless addition to a pregnancy test. Instructions say you wait 3 minutes, and your result will display for 30 minutes, after which the result disappears and there IS NO WAY TO GET IT BACK. I took the test, then had a shower, and by the time I was done, the screen was blank, and I know I wasn't showering for 30 minutes. I tried pulling the cap off and on to see if it would reset and give another reading, but it doesn't. Ended up having to throw it away and use another test, and these things are cheap!

And besides the fact that you're SOL if you don't check your test before your time limit is up (or the product bugs out on you), it takes away your chance to show other people (spouse, etc) the test results. The digital display makes the product worse, not better.

1.0 out of 5 stars False positive, March 7, 2011

I would not purchase this item. I got a "YES+" on the digital followed by same day negative on another and three more days of negatives using several different test brands. Waste of money and cause for heartache! Do not buy!!
